Come into His Presence
Jesus invites each of us to, “Come unto Me.”
God’s heart has ever been to be near His people. God communed
with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day in the Garden of Eden.
In the last chapter of Revelation God and His people are restored,
“Look, God’s home is now among His people! He will live
with them, and they will be His people. God himself will be with
them.” (Revelation 21:3 NLT)
The Spirit of God prompted James to write, “Come close to
God and He will come close to you.” (James 4:8 NLT) This book is
about how the good Holy Spirit led Steve on his journey to draw
near to God through Jesus.
The title and the principles for coming into God’s presence are
found in Psalm 100:4. “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!”
Steve has discovered what David meant when he declared,
“Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who
take refuge in Him!” (Psalm 34:8 NLT)
