The Imagination Station
Weekly Update Jan 30 – Feb 3, Vol. 4
If I had one opportunity to visit Whit’s End, and enter the Imagination Station* I would choose to be one of the men who were walking on the road from Jerusalem to Emmaus, when Jesus caught up to them and joined them on their journey. As they walked, Jesus taught a bible study or survey of the Old Testament. Here is Luke’s description:
And beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He (Jesus) explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. And they (Cleopas and his friend) said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:27, 32
As I read the Bible, I sometimes ask the Holy Spirit to help me see Jesus in the assigned chapters for that day. I have had Jesus revealed to my heart throughout the scriptures, including Leviticus and Deuteronomy.
May God’s Good Spirit reveal His Son to each of us this week.
